KLab Revives Upcoming JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Game With New Partner

KLab Inc. Provides Update on JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Mobile Game

KLab Inc. has announced the revival of its upcoming JoJo's Bizarre Adventure mobile game, initially slated for release in 2020. After a development setback with its original partner, KLab has now partnered with Wanda Cinemas Games of Beijing to bring the title to a global audience.

The game, now targeting a worldwide release (excluding Japan) in 2026, has overcome significant hurdles. Wanda Cinemas Games boasts a strong portfolio of successful mobile titles, including Hoolai Three Kingdoms Mobile Game, Calabash Brothers, Fortress Mobile Game, Saint Seiya: Legend of Justice, Tensura: King of Monsters, and The Legend of Qin.

More About JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and the Upcoming Game

For those unfamiliar, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a renowned manga series by Hirohiko Araki, first serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1987. The series, adapted into anime and films, features a unique blend of surrealism, supernatural elements, and thrilling battles, encompassing diverse storylines from battling ancient vampires to unraveling interdimensional mysteries.

This isn't the franchise's first foray into gaming. A Super Famicom RPG launched in 1993, followed by various titles. Popular Android releases include JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Shooters (2014), JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Records (2017), and JoJo's Pitter Patter Pop! (2018).
