Dead by Daylight's Terrifying Junji Ito Collection: Eight New Skins Unveiled!

The asymmetrical horror multiplayer game, Dead by Daylight (DbD), is thrilled to announce an exclusive collaboration with renowned Japanese horror manga artist Junji Ito. This "ultimate horror collaboration" brings eight chilling new character skins inspired by Ito's iconic works to the game.

A Gallery of Fear: Eight New Skins

For 40 years, Junji Ito has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique, macabre storytelling and surrealist art style. Now, his terrifying creations are coming to life in Dead by Daylight.

The collection features skins based on Ito's most famous works, including "Tomie," "Hanging Balloons," and "Rumors." Killers receiving new skins include The Dredge, The Trickster, The Twins, The Spirit, and The Artist. The Spirit and The Artist will boast Legendary rarity skins, complete with updated audio and sound effects. Specifically, The Spirit will sport a Tomie skin, and The Artist will be transformed into Miss Fuchi from "Rumors." Survivors Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Kate Denson also receive new Ito-inspired looks.

Junji Ito himself was involved in bringing his characters to the game. A video on the official Dead by Daylight X (formerly Twitter) account shows his delighted reaction to seeing his creations in-game, commenting on how even more terrifying they became. He even participated in a gameplay session as The Artist, showcasing the Miss Fuchi skin.

The Junji Ito collection launches January 7th, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Prepare to be terrified!
