Genshin Impact Version 5.4: Introducing Yumemizuki Mizuki, a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst
Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo character hailing from Inazuma, is set to debut in Genshin Impact's Version 5.4. Following the Natlan storyline conclusion in Version 5.3, this update offers a smaller-scale Inazuma adventure centered around yokai, with Yae Miko playing a prominent role.
Mizuki's arrival as a playable character, heavily rumored since late 2024, has been confirmed. Beta testing revealed her as a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst, essentially a premium version of Sucrose with added healing capabilities. Her versatile kit makes her a valuable asset to many team compositions, particularly Taser teams.
While initially expected sooner, Mizuki's official reveal on the Genshin Impact Twitter account was slightly delayed. Marketing materials unveiled her dual identity as a tapir yokai and a psychologist, the majority owner of Aisa Bathhouse. Her close friendship with Yae Miko strongly suggests her introduction will coincide with the Version 5.4 flagship event. A dedicated Story Quest for Mizuki is also anticipated.
Yumemizuki Mizuki Details:
- Title: Embrace of Enchanting Dreams
- Rarity: 5-Star
- Vision: Anemo
- Weapon: Catalyst
- Constellation: Tapirus Somniator
Version 5.4's Event Banners will feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half, followed by Furina and Sigewinne in the second. Post-Version 5.4, Mizuki will join the Standard Banner, prompting collectors to prioritize acquiring her signature weapon.
Version 5.4 presents a more concise update compared to the content-rich Version 5.3. It includes only one new character, a single Story Quest, and no new Artifact Domain or map expansion. Consequently, the Primogem rewards will be below average. Players are advised to save their Lantern Rite rewards for Version 5.4, particularly if they aim to obtain highly sought-after Fontaine characters like Furina or Wriothesley.
