Every Weapon Type in Freedom Wars Remastered

New weapons are acquired through Operations or purchases from Zakka in The Warren. While Comrade weapon choices are fixed, you have complete control over your Accessory's loadout. Change your weapons freely—there are no penalties for frequent switching.

Weapon Type	Traits
Light Melee	Quick attacks ideal for fast-paced combat against single targets. Can sever Abductor limbs without a Flare Knife.
Heavy Melee	Wide-sweeping attacks deliver substantial damage. Well-placed attacks hit multiple Abductor limbs for multiplied damage. Charged attacks launch you into the air at the end of combos. Slightly reduces movement speed.
Polearm	Most attacks involve charging through enemies, maintaining distance from incoming attacks. Charged attacks throw the polearm for significant damage from a safe range.
Assault Weapons	High ammo capacity makes them perfect primary weapons for gun-focused builds. Can be fired while grappled with your Thorne, enabling strategic positioning and long-range attacks.
Portable Artillery	High single-shot damage with low overall ammo capacity. Explosive area-of-effect shots can hit multiple limbs for increased damage. Reduces movement speed.
Autocannons	High rate of fire, large ammo capacity, and magazine size. Individual shots have lower damage, compensated by the rapid firing rate. Reduces movement speed.
