Elden Ring Nightreign's First Network Test: Sign-Ups Open January 10th
The highly anticipated Elden Ring Nightreign, a co-op Soulsborne experience announced at The Game Awards 2024, will hold its initial network test in February 2025. Registration opens January 10th, exclusively for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S players.
This limited beta will offer a sneak peek at the three-player co-op gameplay within The Lands Between. While the final game targets PS4, Xbox One, and PC alongside the current generation consoles, this initial test will focus solely on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, excluding cross-platform play. The number of available test slots remains undisclosed.
How to Register:
- Visit the official Elden Ring Nightreign network test website starting January 10th.
- Register, specifying your preferred platform (PS5 or Xbox Series X/S).
- Await a confirmation email (expected no later than February 2025).
- Participate in the test during February 2025. Specific dates will be announced soon.
Key Limitations:
- Platform Exclusivity: The beta is limited to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
- No Cross-Platform Play: Players will only be able to connect with others on the same console.
- No Progress Carryover: It's unlikely that beta progress will transfer to the full game.
- Party Size Restrictions: The final game, and likely the beta, will only support solo or three-player parties.
FromSoftware hasn't confirmed additional betas, but further testing remains a possibility. Stay tuned for updates on specific test dates and further details.
