Dredge's mobile release delayed until February 2025, but a new closed beta is now open!
Fans eagerly awaiting the mobile port of Black Salt Games' Lovecraftian fishing horror, Dredge, will need to wait a bit longer. The launch has been pushed back to February 2025. However, to soften the blow, Black Salt Games has opened sign-ups for a new closed beta test.
In Dredge, players take on the role of a fisherman in Greater Marrow. What begins as simple fishing quickly descends into encounters with bizarre sea creatures, mysterious entities, and unsettling events on a nearby island, all while battling the creeping threat of madness.

A worthwhile wait
Given the game's scope and the complexities of porting to mobile, the delay isn't surprising. The decision to conduct another closed beta is a smart move, allowing for valuable player feedback before the full release. The numerous awards and critical acclaim Dredge has already received strongly suggest the wait will be worthwhile for those who haven't experienced it on other platforms.
