The quirky creature-collecting RPG, The New Denpa Men, is returning to mobile devices! Initially a 3DS favorite, then a Switch release, this bizarre title is set for an iOS and Android launch on March 10th. This news, reported by Gematsu, suggests a potential global release, unlike its initial Japan-only debut.

The original Denpa Men cleverly utilized AR via the 3DS camera, a feature reportedly returning in this mobile iteration. The game involves collecting "Denpa Men" – creatures inhabiting radio waves – from the real world using AR, then battling them in dungeons.

While not a household name like Mario or Zelda, Denpa Men has enjoyed several appearances on Nintendo platforms. Developer Genius Sonority previously released a mobile version before its Switch remaster, making this a mobile re-release of a Switch re-release! The potential for a global launch this time around is exciting, given the Switch version's worldwide availability.
