Deltarune’s Console Testing Going Smoothly

In a recent post on his official Bluesky account, Toby Fox shared that the console testing for Deltarune's upcoming chapters is progressing well. Despite the workload, Fox noted, "Still console testing. There are fewer bugs, but there's a lot to go through. (Haven't even tested PS5 yet)." This indicates a thorough approach to ensuring a high-quality release.

One of the most anticipated features is the ability to transfer saves from the demo (Chapters 1 and 2) to the full game. Fox mentioned that they've recently acquired the necessary technology for this feature, expressing hope that it will work seamlessly. This update is a significant step forward, allowing players to continue their journey without losing progress.

With the testing phase showing promising results, the release of Deltarune's Chapters 3 and 4 is on the horizon, slated for sometime in 2025, as confirmed by Fox himself.

Fox Namedrops New Character, Tenna

Recently, he shared a light-hearted anecdote about a minigame he's working on for Deltarune, which his family and friends playfully described as a "cry for help because your game is not out."

This playful interaction also sparked speculation among fans, especially since Fox previously stated that Chapters 3 and 4 are complete content-wise. Some believe the minigame might be a teaser for the upcoming Chapter 5, given that Deltarune is planned to have seven chapters in total.

In the same post, Fox mentioned a friend reminiscing about a character named Tenna, saying, "I miss Tenna." Fox humorously remarked, "man that's something no one in the world has ever said huh." Tenna, a character yet to be officially introduced in Deltarune, was first seen during the Spamton Sweepstakes campaign in September 2022 for the Child's Play charity. Fox's mention of Tenna confirms the character's inclusion in Chapter 3, adding to the anticipation for what's to come.
