Dead Cells Mobile's final free updates delayed, but now have a release date!

The much-anticipated final two free updates for Dead Cells on mobile, "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near," have been delayed, but now have a confirmed release date of February 18th, 2025. Both updates, already available on console and PC, will introduce exciting new content to the popular roguelike.

What's in store?

• Clean Cut: This update features two new weapons: the Sewing Scissors (Survival-focused) and the Giant Comb (Brutality-focused). Players will also meet the Tailor's Daughter, a new NPC allowing customization of character head appearance, plus other additions.

• The End is Near: Get ready for new enemies like the Sore Loser, Curser, and Doom Bringer. This update also includes new skills and colorless mutations, such as Demonic Strength, a powerful mutation that increases damage based on curse stacks.

Playdigious, the developer, has consistently provided generous free content for Dead Cells. While the end of free updates has been met with some disappointment, the quality and quantity of additions justify the studio's decision to move on to other projects.

The final two updates will launch simultaneously on Android and iOS on February 18th, 2025. New players are encouraged to consult a Dead Cells weapon tier list to prepare for the challenging gameplay.
