The narrative kicks off with Darkseid's transition from the DC Universe to the Sonic universe, drawn by the allure of immense power. To thwart this ultimate evil from dominating a new dimension, the Justice League and Team Sonic must unite their forces.

This crossover is part of a broader collaboration between Warner Bros. and Sega, which also includes a line of exclusive toys and collectibles available at Target. The initial offerings feature a range of T-shirts and hoodies, spotlighting Shadow the Hedgehog styled as Batman.
