Kabam is set to enhance the Marvel Contest of Champions experience with significant updates that include the introduction of new Champions and a novel character type called Eidols. This month's updates also spotlight the powerful women of the game, giving players a unique opportunity to influence the 2025 Champion rework.

The Dark Phoenix Saga will commence on March 3rd, marking a thrilling new chapter where Jean Grey and the X-Men face off against dangerous variants. Following the saga, Jean Grey will join The Contest on March 13th, bringing her formidable telekinetic and telepathic powers to the roster. Bastion, a powerful new adversary, will arrive on March 27th, further enriching the game's narrative and challenges.

Expanding the lore of Marvel Contest of Champions, the game introduces Eidols, a new character class tied to The Founders storyline. The first Eidol, Isophyne, debuted in December 2024, and in 2025, three more Eidols will be unveiled, each featuring unique sourcing systems. Lumatrix, the latest Eidol, will debut on March 5th and remain available until June 4th. Designed as a master infiltrator by The Founders, Lumatrix utilizes ISO-8 crystals to manipulate light with deadly precision, serving as a covert assassin within The Contest.

As part of the celebration of the game's powerful female characters, Kabam has collaborated with seven female developers and content creators, each championing a different female Champion. Players can participate in Solo Objectives and Realm Events throughout March to vote on which Champion will receive a rework in 2025, ensuring their favorite hero gets the spotlight she deserves.
