How To Get Costume Minccino in Pokemon GO

The Pokémon GO Fashion Week event is back, bringing returning costumed Pokémon and a new addition: costumed Minccino and Cinccino!

When is Costumed Minccino Available?

Costumed Minccino and Cinccino debuted during Fashion Week 2025, running from January 10th to 19th, 2025. These stylish Pokémon sport rhinestone glasses and adorable bows. Costumed Minccino has a shiny variant, unlike its evolution, Cinccino. The event also features costumed Butterfree, Dragonite, Diglett, Blitzle, Kirlia, Shinx, and various Furfrou forms in the wild and Raids.

How to Catch Costumed Minccino:

Unfortunately, obtaining costumed Minccino isn't straightforward. It's available through two methods:

One-Star Raids:

Costumed Minccino appears in One-Star Raids, generally soloable. However, One-Star Raids also feature costumed Shinx and Furfrou, requiring some searching to find a Minccino Raid.

Paid Timed Research:

A $5 USD (or equivalent) ticket grants access to a Timed Research featuring XP, Stardust, a new avatar pose, and encounters with costumed Minccino. Completing the research guarantees at least one.

Field Research Tasks:

While Field Research offers encounters with event Pokémon, Niantic hasn't confirmed if Minccino is among them. It's possible, but not guaranteed.

Obtaining Costumed Cinccino:

To get a costumed Cinccino, evolve your costumed Minccino using 50 candies and a Unova Stone.
