Butter Overflows! Cato's Toasty Journey Begins

A charming new game, Cato: Buttered Cat, is coming soon to Android! The name itself is a clever combination of "cat" and "toast," perfectly reflecting the game's unique premise. Ever wondered what happens when you attach buttered toast to a cat's back? The developers at Team Woll did, and the result is a hilariously physics-defying adventure. The cat, defying gravity, spins endlessly!

Initially conceived for the 2022 BOOOM Gamejam competition, Cato: Buttered Cat received such positive feedback that it's been developed into a full game. Currently available on Steam for PC, the Android version is on its way. While the Google Play Store listing isn't yet live, you can pre-register via the official TapTap page.

Gameplay:

Cato: Buttered Cat is a delightful puzzle platformer where you control both a cat and a slice of buttered toast. Work together to solve puzzles, overcome enemies, and explore whimsical worlds.

Explore five unique worlds filled with quirky contraptions and 200 levels of gameplay, including side quests. Uncover a hidden narrative through clues scattered throughout the levels, and customize your cat with 30 different outfits!

The cat's agility and the toast's projectile capabilities create dynamic gameplay. Use the toast to propel the cat to otherwise unreachable areas. Plus, discover hidden rooms and Easter eggs!
