First Bird Pokémon Lands in Pokémon GO for Catch Mastery Event!

If you're a Pokémon GO player, you're in for a treat with the upcoming events, including the exciting Catch Mastery event. Alongside other ongoing events like the Festival of Colors and the Might and Mastery, the Catch Mastery event adds another layer of fun to your gameplay.

Catch Mastery Brings the First Birdie for Pokémon GO!

Mark your calendars for March 16th, as the Catch Mastery event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time. This event centers around Archen, the First Bird Pokémon, offering players a unique opportunity to encounter this ancient creature. During the event, you'll see increased spawns of Omanyte and Kabuto, with a chance to encounter their Shiny variants.

Archen will be available as a Field Research reward, with an enhanced chance of encountering its Shiny form. To boost your progress, the event offers enticing XP bonuses: double XP for Nice Throws or better, and additional XP for Curveball Throws.

Additionally, the event features Timed Research focused on catching Rock-type Pokémon. If you're ready to take on the challenge, you can complete up to 10 sets of tasks, leading to a total of 40 Archen encounters.

The Mega Absol Raid Day Is also Happening Soon

Following the Catch Mastery event, get ready for the Mega Absol Raid Day on March 23rd, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Absol is set to learn a new Charged Attack, Brutal Swing, which will be permanently available after the event. This move packs a punch with 55 power in Trainer Battles and 65 power in gyms and raids.

From March 22nd at 5:00 p.m. PDT to March 23rd at 8:00 p.m. PDT, the Remote Raid Pass limit will increase to 20, allowing you more opportunities to participate in raids. You can also collect up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, bringing your total to six for the day.

If you haven't already, be sure to download Pokémon GO from the Google Play Store to join in on these exciting events.
