Ubisoft's new Assassin's Creed Shadows trailer showcases enhanced PC features. The trailer highlights upscaling technologies (DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 2 upon release), ultra-wide monitor support, ray tracing (RTGI and RT Reflections), and extensive configuration options for lower-end systems. A built-in benchmark tool is also included for performance testing.
Minimum specifications for 1080p/30 FPS gameplay include an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, and an NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8GB) or AMD RX 5700 (8GB) GPU. High-end requirements for 4K/60 FPS with ultra settings and ray tracing call for an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, and an RTX 4090 (24GB) GPU.
Intel is a development partner, ensuring optimized performance on their processors. Post-launch AMD performance analysis will follow. The developers aim to address past stuttering issues, building on the performance improvements seen in Mirage compared to previous series entries like Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla.
Assassin's Creed Shadows launches March 20th on PC and consoles.
