When Does the AFK Journey New Season (Chains of Eternity) Release? Answered

The free-to-play RPG, AFK Journey, receives regular seasonal content updates. A new season, "Chains of Eternity," is on the horizon, introducing a fresh map, storyline, and new heroes.

Chains of Eternity Season Release Date

The global version of AFK Journey will launch "Chains of Eternity" on January 17th. Other regions and servers will gain access if their server is at least 35 days old and players meet these prerequisites:

• Reach Resonance Level 240.
• Complete all pre-season AFK stages.

Meeting these conditions and having a server older than 35 days ensures simultaneous access to the new season.

Chains of Eternity: New Additions

"Chains of Eternity" brings significant additions to AFK Journey, including:

• New Heroes: Lorsan (Wilder), Elijah and Lailah (Celestial)
• New Boss: Illucia (Dream Realm)

This season also introduces changes to gameplay mechanics:

• A daily cap on AFK progress.
• Revised Paragon levels, significantly increasing their impact.
• Exclusive Equipment enhancements, boosting the effectiveness of upgrading from +15 to +20, although at a higher cost. This prioritizes investment in existing Supreme+ units.
