Tracking Down Poachers in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's "Bird of Prey" Quest
The "Bird of Prey" quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 requires tracking five poacher groups. The game doesn't pinpoint their locations, making this a challenging task. This guide provides detailed locations for each poacher. Remember, while combat is an option, peaceful resolution is preferable to avoid reputation penalties.
Poacher #1
Locate this poacher north of the pond mentioned early in the quest. Enter the forest, navigate through the dense shrubs, and you'll find his camp. This poacher is easily persuaded to surrender. Secure a piece of his equipment as proof.
Poacher #2
This poacher proves more difficult. While speaking to quest-related NPCs can help narrow the search, the image above shows a direct route. High persuasion skills are needed for a peaceful resolution; otherwise, prepare for combat and seize his equipment.
Poacher #3
Find this poacher in Slatego Forest. Information can be obtained from Gravedigger Ignatius near Apollonia. Beware of wolves in this area. The poacher's camp will be empty, but his remains can be found further west, guarded by wolves. Collect equipment from the scene.
Poacher #4
This encounter involves three poachers deep in the woods. Direct confrontation isn't necessary. Examine the deer carcass, deer skin, and hanging deer carcass to gather sufficient evidence. Report your findings to the gamekeeper; he'll arrange for official apprehension.
Poacher #5
The final poacher is Hans. He's located near the rocks on the western edge of the quest marker area. As he's an acquaintance, apprehension isn't possible; collect his poaching kit as evidence instead.
Successfully completing the "Bird of Prey" quest requires careful investigation and strategic decision-making. Prioritize peaceful solutions whenever feasible.
