Five Dice is a dice game that closely resembles YAHTZEE*, Yachty, Yatzy, & others. It faithfully follows Yahtzee's core rules. With a simple, intuitive interface, Five Dice is the perfect way to pass time while standing in line, waiting for an appointment, or during any spare moment you have — whether it's a few minutes or hours!

TRADITIONAL GAME MODE:

Traditional mode adheres closely to the standard YAHTZEE rules. Each of the 13 turns allows up to 3 rolls. Tap dice to hold them between rolls. Aim to score at least three of a kind in each left-side category; earning 63+ points there grants a 35-point bonus. Score on the right side for combinations like 3 of a Kind, 4 of a Kind, Full House, Small Straight, Large Straight, Five Dice, & Chance. Your first Five Dice scores 50 points, with a 100-point bonus for every one after. Track your best on the dedicated Traditional mode leaderboard.

SEQUENTIAL GAME MODE:

In Sequential mode, scores must be placed in a fixed order:

Left Side - 1's through 6's

Right Side - 3 of a Kind through Chance

At the start, all categories are grayed out. After the first roll of a turn, the correct category for that turn becomes active. Once you've taken your three rolls, the score must go into that active category. The only exception is rolling a Five Dice — you may score it immediately, then resume the sequence next turn. Subsequent Five Dices earn a 100-point bonus but still follow the sequence. Compete on the Sequential mode leaderboard.

RUSSIAN ROULETTE GAME MODE:

One roll per turn — then you must assign a score, even if it's a zero. This mode demands a clever strategy to maximize points. Can you find it? Climb the Russian Roulette exclusive leaderboard!

PLUS GAME MODE:

Plus is a strategic variant where unused rolls carry over to future turns. Instead of 13 turns with 3 fixed rolls each, any rolls you save are added to your next turn. For example, using only 2 rolls on your first turn gives you 4 on the second. If you then use just 1, you'll have 6 on the third turn, and so on. Test your roll management on the Plus mode leaderboard.

SCORING:

After each roll, all valid scoring categories are highlighted in yellow for quick decisions. You decide where to place each turn's score. A game consists of thirteen turns with up to 3 rolls each. Tap dice to hold them; the rest will be re-rolled. After your third roll, you must assign the score to proceed. The first Five Dice is worth 50 points, with a 100-point bonus for each additional one. Score 63 or more on the left side to earn a 35-point bonus.
