In the year 2XXX, Earth is ravaged by a mysterious virus that triggers a bizarre illness scientists dub "the zombie plague." This pathogen causes horrific mutations, transforming humans into mindless zombies of varying sizes. The infected are driven by an insatiable attraction to noise and the scent of human blood.

You are a survivor in this shattered world. To protect your cherished home and fellow survivors, you must establish a fortified base with multiple defensive layers. Strategic deployment of defense towers is key to strengthening your base and ensuring its safety.

At each level's start, you'll survey the 8x8 grid battlefield and the monsters' intended path. Your task is to use puzzle-piece-shaped wall fragments to reroute this path, forcing enemies through deadly gauntlets of your defensive towers. Your ultimate goal: defend the home from the encroaching horde.

The home is positioned at a fixed location each level. You can place your puzzle pieces anywhere on the grid, with one crucial rule: you must leave at least one space open in every row.

Every level consists of 6 relentless waves of monsters. Initially, you choose one of two tower cards. Once selected, it appears alongside your puzzle pieces for placement on the grid before the action begins. After each wave, you can select additional cards from a choice of two new tower types or a powerful stat card. Stat cards provide a global buff to all your towers, while new tower cards expand your defensive arsenal.
