Сheaters in Black Ops 6 kick players, Activision made false claims about fixing the issue

In late January, a video emerged online demonstrating the use of a hacking tool designed to remove players from matches in *Black Ops 6*. The footage, taken from the game's multiplayer beta, prompted a response from Activision, which confirmed that the vulnerability shown was exploited during the beta phase. However, the company emphasized that the issue was resolved before the game's official release in November. They also noted that the video does not reflect the current state of the game, as their team continuously investigates reports related to such utilities.

Despite Activision's assurances, some players have accused the company of dishonesty, claiming that hackers are still using the tool. They provided a video as evidence, showing the program in action during a match on the Nuketown map, which was introduced to *Black Ops 6* a week following its launch.

According to Circana analysts, *Black Ops 6* topped the sales charts in the US last year, continuing the Call of Duty franchise's 16-year streak as the best-selling game series in the country. Meanwhile, *EA Sports College Football 25*, released on consoles in July, emerged as the most played sports game in the United States.

In 2024, U.S. gamers' overall spending saw a slight decrease of 1.1% compared to the previous year. Circana attributes this dip primarily to reduced demand for hardware, while expenditures on add-ons and services increased by 2% and 6%, respectively. Looking ahead, fans can anticipate the second season of *Black Ops 6* and *Warzone 2*, set to launch on January 28 with a ninja-themed event and a crossover with the "Terminator" universe.
