Xbox Game Pass April 2025: First Titles Revealed

Microsoft has revealed the lineup of Xbox Game Pass titles arriving in early April 2025, featuring an impressive mix of first-party and third-party games. Highlights include South of Midnight, Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition, Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition, and several other notable additions.

The strong roster was officially announced through Xbox Wire. The wave of games begins rolling out on April 3 with Gearbox Software's Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition (Cloud, Console, PC) available across all subscription tiers. Game Pass Standard members gain access to All You Need Is Help (Console), Still Wakes the Deep (Xbox Series X|S), and Wargroove 2 (Console). Just five days later on April 8, subscribers can enjoy South of Midnight (Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S) and Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition (Console, PC).

South of Midnight, Compulsion Games' folklore-inspired adventure set in the American South, stands out as one of Xbox's most anticipated 2025 releases. Microsoft describes the Game Pass addition: "Explore Southern mythology and confront mystical creatures while mastering ancient powers to overcome challenges and resolve the mysteries plaguing your hometown."

The schedule continues with Commandos: Origins (Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S) arriving April 9 for Ultimate and PC subscribers, followed by Blue Prince (Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S) on April 10. Hunt: Showdown 1896 (PC) completes Wave 1 on April 15.

April also brings refreshed Game Pass perks including The First Descendant's Beyond the Void Bundle, Candy Crush Solitaire's Sweet Starter Pack for mobile players, and Sea of Thieves' anniversary Seventh Serving Emote.
