Uncharted Waters Origin Releases Ruins Lighthouse Update with New PvE Features

Uncharted Waters Origin has just released an exciting new update titled "The Lighthouse of the Ruins," introducing a fresh PvE challenge, a new character, and a series of events that will run until the beginning of November.

It's Going To Be A Monthly Event

In the Lighthouse of the Ruins, players embark on a journey through various waters or levels, starting from the lower depths and ascending upwards. This challenging climb involves battling foes and collecting rewards such as Blue Gems and Shipbuilding Accelerations. Successfully clearing certain waters grants exceptional rewards. The event refreshes monthly, providing players with another opportunity to tackle the challenge if they get stuck. After each reset, players can attempt to clear up to half of their previous progress, ensuring they don't have to start from scratch every month.

Attempting the Lighthouse of the Ruins requires 10 energy per try, with 8 energy returned upon failure. However, redo items cannot be used, and rank rewards are distributed only once per month. Therefore, it's crucial to strategize effectively before diving into the challenge.

Accompanying this update is the introduction of William Adams, an S-grade Admiral and a historic English navigator who famously arrived in Japan aboard the Dutch ship Liefde. Adams must now win the trust of the Shogun. Alongside Adams, new Mates join the roster: Naoe Kanetsugu and Togo Grimani as normal Mates, and Ga Eunjeong and Tatsumaru as the latest Employee Mates.

The new Mate Growth system, known as Transcendence, is now available in Uncharted Waters Origin. Once a Mate's Premium Training is maxed out, Transcendence unlocks, granting them an additional Effect slot. The Tome of Transcendence, essential for this system, can be obtained from the Lighthouse of the Ruins, Arctic Waters Land Training, and even through a smuggling ring assistant captain in Cape Town.

The Combat Support Special Attendance Event in Uncharted Waters Origin will continue until November 5th. By participating, players can earn 60 Tomes of Transcendence, 40 Highest Combat Appointments, a Birch Board, and gear like the Marxbrüder Zweihänder & Rüstung.
