Drug Dealer Simulator Schedule I continues its meteoric rise as one of Steam's most-played games, now celebrating its first significant post-launch update. Developer Tyler has released version 0.3.4 on the beta branch, which players can test before its full release. The update is set to stay in beta for a day or two, giving eager players a chance to dive in early.

Tyler shared on the game's Steam page that while the beta version doesn't encompass all forthcoming features, it's crucial for testing new additions such as wall-mounted objects and the pawn shop interface. "I'll be adding a few more decorative objects tomorrow [April 8]. I wanted to get this beta out ASAP so that the new wall-mounted objects and pawn shop interface can be thoroughly trialled," he explained.

Upon its launch, Schedule I became the top-selling game on Steam, surpassing big titles like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals, thanks to viral popularity on social media, Twitch, and YouTube. In the game, players progress from a small-time dope pusher to a kingpin, managing the manufacture and distribution of drugs in the gritty city of Hyland Point. Players can expand their empire through properties, businesses, and hiring employees.

The game is developed and published by TVGS, the Australian indie developer Tyler, who described the explosive launch as "amazing but pretty overwhelming." Tyler expressed his gratitude and surprise on Reddit, saying, "I never expected this kind of response! At the moment I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched."
