- The Wishlist feature allows players to select preferred cards for trading
- Trade Tokens have been permanently removed from the system
- Get ready for exciting Shinedust rewards
After its initial launch and subsequent refinements, Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket's trading system has evolved significantly. The highly anticipated Wishlist feature arrives as a direct response to player feedback, solving core trading frustrations.
Starting July 29th, Pokémon TCG Pocket players can specify desired cards through the Wishlist system - mark up to 20 preferred cards in your collection, with three prominently displayed on your profile. No more hoping random trades will deliver what you want.
While this doesn't guarantee obtaining that elusive OG Charizard ex immediately, it gives traders control over potential exchanges rather than receiving yet another Exeggutor duplicate.

The update brings another major improvement: Trade Tokens are being phased out entirely in favor of the new Shinedust economy. Players can now enjoy duplicate pulls without sacrificing cards, plus receive double Shinedust rewards when opening pack duplicates.
Existing Trade Tokens remain valuable - exchange them equally for Pack Hourglasses (up to 60 times) or convert them to Shinedust at a 1:10 ratio with no limits.
These thoughtful updates demonstrate the developers' commitment to community feedback, reinforcing why Pokémon TCG Pocket deserves consideration for the Pocket Gamer People's Choice Award 2025. Don't forget to cast your vote!
