Here's the official synopsis for The Fantastic Four: First Steps:

Set against a vibrant 1960s retro-futuristic backdrop, Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s First Family—Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn), and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach)—as they confront their most formidable challenge yet. Balancing their heroic roles with their family bond, they must defend Earth from the voracious space god Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus's planet-devouring plan weren't enough, it takes a deeply personal turn.

At NYCC in October, attendees saw artwork featuring key MCU figures, including a first live-action glimpse of H.E.R.B.I.E. (Humanoid Experimental Robot B-Type Integrated Electronics).

Speculation abounds regarding Robert Downey Jr.'s potential return as Doctor Doom, either in The Fantastic Four: First Steps or through a tease. Feige has confirmed the Fantastic Four's appearances in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
