Three years after the launch of It Takes Two, Hazelight released a substantial patch in May. The full update notes are available on Steam. Significantly, the game has transitioned to a fully Steam-integrated experience, no longer requiring the EA launcher. This also includes full Steam Deck compatibility.

Now, you can seamlessly invite Steam friends to play, and Steam Family Sharing is fully functional. While an EA account remains necessary to connect to EA servers, it's no longer required for local play using Steam Remote Play.
