According to the company, the retro-styled GameCube controller was built primarily for playing Nintendo GameCube – Nintendo Classics collection titles. "Due to the absence of certain buttons and functionalities found in more modern controllers, there may be some issues when attempting to play other games. The Nintendo GameCube controller is only supported on the Nintendo Switch 2 and is not compatible with the original Nintendo Switch."
