DC Studios has unveiled an exciting new trailer for the upcoming Superman movie, directed by James Gunn and set to hit theaters on July 11, 2025. This three-minute trailer offers fans a deeper glimpse into the film's expansive universe, showcasing a robust ensemble of superheroes and supervillains.

In the trailer, we witness Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner / Green Lantern effortlessly fending off adversaries with a flick of his hand. Isabela Merced brings Hawkgirl to life, while María Gabriela de Faría's portrayal of The Engineer stands out as she engages in a dramatic confrontation within the Fortress of Solitude. Notably, it's The Engineer who takes down the robots, including the beloved Kelex, a scene that was teased in a previous trailer showing a heartbroken Superman cradling the damaged robot.

The trailer also features Krypto the Superdog in action, bravely executing a flying punch against The Engineer, proving that this super-canine is more than ready to tackle villains head-on.

Further highlights include Lex Luthor, portrayed by Nicholas Hoult, and Ultraman in action-packed sequences. We get extended looks at Edi Gathegi's Mister Terrific and Anthony Carrigan's Rex Mason / Metamorpho, adding depth to the film's roster of characters. The newly introduced Hammer of Boravia, speculated to be Ultraman in disguise, makes an appearance as anticipated, following a teaser from the previous day.

A central theme of the movie appears to be the dynamic between Clark Kent and Lois Lane, with a notable scene showing Lois interviewing Superman. The conversation escalates into a heated debate over Superman's controversial decision to intervene in a foreign war, with Superman defending his actions by saying, "I wasn’t representing anyone except for me... and doing good!" This decision leads to repercussions, as the Hammer of Boravia retaliates by attacking Downtown Metropolis.

An additional scene captures a poignant moment where a member of the public assists Superman out of a hole in the ground, offering a stark contrast to other shots where the public's reaction to Superman ranges from fear to outright hostility, with some even throwing objects at him.

This trailer not only builds anticipation for the film but also sets the stage for a complex narrative exploring the moral dilemmas and public perception of superheroes in the DC Universe.
