Pokémon GO enthusiasts, get ready for an exciting new event! The Beloved Buddies event is set to launch soon, bringing surprise debuts, bonuses, and thrilling raids. This event is all about strengthening your bond with your Pokémon, and it marks the first-ever appearance of a special Pokémon in the game.

When Is the Beloved Buddies Event Kicking Off in Pokémon GO?

Mark your calendars! The Beloved Buddies event will run from February 11th to February 15th. This is your chance to deepen your connections with your Pokémon companions. A highlight of the event is the debut of Dhelmise, the Sea Creeper Pokémon. You'll have the opportunity to add this unique Pokémon to your collection and challenge it in raids.

During the event, you'll enjoy double XP for catching Pokémon, and Lure Modules will last an impressive full hour. These Lures will attract a diverse range of Pokémon, including Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Cutiefly, and Fomantis. Catching any of these Pokémon will also reward you with an additional 500 Stardust per catch, making it a great time to boost your resources.

The wild Pokémon encounters during the Beloved Buddies event are not to be missed. Shiny Diglett and Shiny Dunsparce will appear more frequently, giving you a better chance to catch these rare variants. You can also expect to see more of Nidoran, Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Remoraid, Mantine, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise, Cutiefly, and Fomantis in the wild.

Raids during the event will offer a variety of challenges, ranging from one-star to mega battles. In one-star raids, you'll encounter Shellder, Dwebble, and Skrelp, with Skrelp having an increased shiny rate. Three-star raids will feature Slowbro, Hippowdon, and the debuting Dhelmise, giving you a chance to battle and capture this new Pokémon.

For those looking for a bigger challenge, five-star raids will feature Enamorus in its Incarnate Forme. Meanwhile, Mega Raids will bring in the formidable Mega Tyranitar. So, make sure to check out Pokémon GO on the Google Play Store and dive into the Beloved Buddies event once it starts.
