Sony has officially announced a new *State of Play* broadcast scheduled for tomorrow, June 4. The reveal was made via a recent PlayStation Blog post by Sony Interactive Entertainment content communications manager, Tim Turi. According to the announcement, viewers can expect “news and updates on must-play games coming to PS5.” Turi added that the presentation will highlight a diverse lineup of titles from developers around the world.

The upcoming showcase is set to run for over 40 minutes and will air live on June 4 at 2:00 PM PT / 5:00 PM ET / 11:00 PM CEST. While details remain sparse, there’s plenty of speculation about what could be featured. One of the most anticipated reveals is likely to include new information on Sucker Punch’s highly-anticipated PS5 exclusive sequel, *Ghost of Yotei*, which is slated for a October 2024 launch.

There’s also strong anticipation around whether Insomniac Games’ upcoming Wolverine title will make an appearance. Additionally, fans are eager to hear updates from other prominent Sony-owned studios, including Santa Monica Studio (known for *God of War*), Bend Studio (*Days Gone*), and Guerrilla Games, currently developing a multiplayer spin-off in the *Horizon* universe.

Bungie, now under the Sony umbrella, continues work on its next-generation shooter *Marathon*. However, how much of the game will be shown remains uncertain, especially following recent controversies surrounding art plagiarism. Meanwhile, Fairgames—formerly known as Haven Studios—continues development without founder Jade Raymond at the helm.

In related news, Sony recently launched a new internal studio called teamLFG, with plans to develop a yet-to-be-revealed live service title. Furthermore, the broadcast may also spotlight third-party collaborations such as *Phantom Blade Zero*, a title being published by Sony and developed by Light Sword Corporation.
