How to Get a Bed and Sleep in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Once you're set free in the open world of *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, securing a bed of your own becomes a top priority. As you embark on the Wedding Crashers quest, you'll have the choice between following the blacksmith or the miller's storyline. No matter which path you take, either Radovan or Kreyzl will provide you with a cozy place to rest.

In my journey, I opted for Radovan, who's conveniently located in Tachov, close to your starting point. Simply make your way to Tachov, engage with his questline, and after completing the smithing tutorial, you'll unlock access to a room right beside the forge. This room comes with a bed that will be marked as yours on the world map, along with an inventory chest for storing your belongings. Whenever you need to heal up, just head back to this spot for a restful sleep.

Sleeping at Campsites

There will be instances when you can't make it back to your bed in time. Thankfully, *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* is dotted with campsites along the roads and within the forests. Some of these might be occupied by bandits, requiring you to clear them out before you can use the facilities, but others might be vacant.

Whenever you stumble upon a campsite, it will appear on your map, and you can interact with the bedrolls to get some rest. Keep in mind that the comfort level won't match that of a regular bed, but it will suffice in a pinch. In dire situations, you can also sleep in an NPC's bed, though be warned: getting caught could lead to a report to the guards if you can't smooth-talk your way out of it.
