Marvel Rivals Season 1 unleashes new characters, maps, and modes, including a fresh set of challenges rewarding players with freebies like a Thor skin. This guide focuses on triggering Recursive Destruction in the Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown map.

What is Recursive Destruction?

The "Blood Moon Over the Big Apple" challenge requires triggering Recursive Destruction. This involves destroying Dracula-influenced objects that then reappear in their original form. However, not all destructible objects work; only specific ones will trigger this effect.

Locating Destructible Objects

To identify eligible objects, utilize Chrono Vision (accessed via the "B" key on PC or the right D-pad button on consoles). Only objects highlighted in red will trigger Recursive Destruction.

Triggering Recursive Destruction in Midtown

This challenge is exclusive to the Quick Match (Midtown) mode. Begin by participating in the initial Fantasticar objective. Initially, no red-highlighted objects will be present. You must wait until the first checkpoint. At this point, two buildings capable of triggering Recursive Destruction will appear on the map.

During the match, target these buildings. While the reappearance might be missed in the heat of battle, several hits should suffice to complete the challenge. If unsuccessful, simply replay the match. After completing this, focus on subsequent challenges involving Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.
