Pokémon GO May 2025 Roadmap Revealed: Expect Surprises!

May 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting month for Pokémon GO players, packed with a variety of events and raid opportunities. The highlight of the month is undoubtedly the return of the Lake Trio, which will be featured in 5-Star Raids across different regions.

What Does Pokémon GO Have in Store for May 2025?

Kicking off the month, Tapu Fini will be available in Five-Star Raids from May 1st to May 12th. Players have the chance to encounter this Pokémon with its special move, Nature’s Madness, and there's even a chance for a Shiny Tapu Fini.

Following that, from May 12th, the Lake Trio will make their grand return. Depending on your location, you'll have the opportunity to battle Uxie in the Asia-Pacific region, Mesprit in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India, and Azelf in the Americas and Greenland.

Once the Lake Trio wraps up, Tapu Bulu will take the stage in raids from May 25th to June 3rd, 2025. Like Tapu Fini, Tapu Bulu will also feature Nature’s Madness and a chance at a Shiny form.

For those interested in Mega Raids, May offers a robust schedule. From May 1st to 12th, Mega Houndoom will be the star. From May 12th to 25th, Mega Gyarados will take over, followed by Mega Altaria from May 25th to June 3rd.

And Here Are the Details of All the Events

The month's events start with "Growing Up" from May 2nd to 7th, and a Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day on May 3rd. "Crown Clash" runs from May 10th to 18th, overlapping with the Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend on May 10th and 11th.

Community Day is set for May 11th, though the featured Pokémon remains a mystery for now. "Crown Clash: Taken Over" will take place from May 14th to 18th, and a Shadow Raid Day is scheduled for May 17th.

Later in the month, "Final Strike: GO Battle Week" will occur from May 21st to 27th, and the May Community Day Classic is on May 24th. Pokémon GO will close out May 2025 with a Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day on May 25th.
