Dead by Daylight x Nyaight Anime Crossover Unveiled - IGN

During IGN Live, we're thrilled to exclusively unveil the chilling yet charming opening two minutes of Crunchyroll's Nyaight of the Living Cat anime premiere, alongside announcing an exciting in-game collaboration with Dead by Daylight.

The preview (watch below) introduces both our protagonists and this bizarre universe where horror meets cuteness. As the characters flee from shadowy pursuers, the terrifying truth emerges - they're being hunted by swarms of irresistibly adorable cats.

When a character stumbles before the feline onslaught, they don't meet a gruesome zombie-movie fate. Instead, they're showered with affectionate licks - though contact transforms victims into cats themselves, proving these cuddly creatures carry a contagious curse.

While details remain scarce about the Dead by Daylight crossover, Behavior Interactive promises announcements soon about which purr-fect predators will invade their horror universe.

Premiering July 6, 2025, Nyaight of the Living Cat will air on TV Tokyo with Crunchyroll streaming internationally.

The anime adapts Hawkman and Mecha-Roots' manga about a bizarre pandemic where feline contact triggers metamorphosis. Protagonist Kunagi must resist every fluffy temptation to avoid becoming another casualty of this adorable apocalypse.
