Nintendo, in collaboration with Retro Studios and Piggyback, is set to release an exciting Metroid Prime art book. This partnership promises to offer fans a deep dive into the behind-the-scenes development of the iconic Metroid Prime series.

Nintendo and Piggyback, renowned for their detailed guidebooks, are joining forces to launch the "Metroid Prime 1-3: A Visual Retrospective" art book this Summer 2025. This collaboration also includes Retro Studios, the developers behind the Metroid Prime series, who will contribute extensive insights into the 20-year journey of the franchise.

The art book will feature a rich collection of "drawings, sketches, and assorted illustrations from the Metroid Prime Series," as stated on Piggyback's website. Beyond its visual appeal, the book will provide valuable context and perspective on the development of Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and Metroid Prime Remastered.

In addition to stunning artwork and developer sketches, the art book will include:

Nintendo’s Past Collaboration with Piggyback

This collaboration marks another chapter in Piggyback's history with Nintendo. Previously, Piggyback created official guides for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, assisting players in navigating Hyrule, collecting every item, and completing all quests.

These guides provided comprehensive information, including Korok seed locations, weapon and armor details, and even coverage of the DLCs for Breath of the Wild, such as The Master Trials and The Champions’ Ballad.
