Monster Hunter Wilds: Pre-Launch Bonus Items Available for Fans

Niantic and Capcom have exciting news for Monster Hunter fans with the announcement of a limited-time collaboration event between the mobile game Monster Hunter Now and the highly anticipated upcoming title, Monster Hunter Wilds. This event, set to run from February 3, 2025, at 9 am to March 31, 2025, at 11:59 pm (local time), offers players a chance to secure exclusive bonus items before the release of Monster Hunter Wilds in 2025.

During the event, players can dive into Monster Hunter Now to complete special Collab Event Quests. Successfully finishing these quests will reward players with a gift code, which can be redeemed for a variety of in-game items in Monster Hunter Wilds. These items include Mega Potions, Energy Drinks, Dust of Life, and more, providing a significant boost to players' inventories. The gift code can be found and generated under the hunter menu in Monster Hunter Now, tailored to the selected platform.

The collaboration event comes with a range of exclusive rewards:

  • Monster Hunter Wilds Gift Code
  • Exclusive MH Wilds Hoodie
  • Exclusive MH Wilds Collaboration Guild Card background
  • Weapon Refining Parts
  • Armor Refining Parts

In addition to the event, Capcom has scheduled a second open beta test for Monster Hunter Wilds in February 2025. This test will include content from the first test, introduce a new monster hunt, and allow character carryover, offering fans an early taste of the game's expansive open-world biomes, 14 weapon types, and the innovative Seikret mount, which enables players to carry two weapons while hunting.

Monster Hunter Now is currently in the midst of its Season 4, titled "Roars from the Winterwind," which began in December and will continue until March 12, 2025. This season brings a new habitat, additional monsters, and the introduction of the Switch Axe weapon type. Players logging in during the collaboration event can collect a variety of supply items, including Weapon Refining Parts and Armor Refining Parts. Additionally, limited-time packs available in the in-game shop and web store will offer Special Carving Knives and Hunting Tickets.

Monster Hunter Wilds is set to be a major release in 2025, joining other highly anticipated games such as Avowed, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Nintendo’s Pokemon Legends: Z-A, and the much-talked-about Grand Theft Auto 6. As a successor to the acclaimed Monster Hunter: World from 2018, Monster Hunter Wilds promises to deliver an engaging experience with its open-world environments and cooperative multiplayer support for up to four players.
