Electronic Arts has officially announced the launch date for the latest installment in the Madden NFL series, marking a significant transition to the newest generation of gaming consoles.

Madden NFL 26 is set to launch on August 14, 2025, with an exclusive three-day early access window for those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition, starting August 11. This eagerly anticipated game will be playable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, PC through the EA app for Windows, Steam, and Epic Games Store, and notably, on the Nintendo Switch 2.

This release signifies a major shift as Madden NFL 26 will be the first entry in the series to grace Nintendo's innovative hybrid console. However, this advancement means that the series will no longer support the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, fully embracing the capabilities of the PS5 and Xbox Series consoles.
