The White Wolf is making his final stand. Production for *The Witcher* Season 5 is now in motion, and fresh photos from the set featuring Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia—alongside both familiar faces and new additions—have surfaced online.
These apparent leaked images, shared via the fan-favorite hub Redanian Intelligence, showcase Hemsworth fully immersed in character, sporting Geralt’s iconic long blonde locks. The photos also feature returning stars such as Meng’er Zhang reprising her role as Milva and Joey Batey back as Jaskier, both of whom have been part of the series since the days when Henry Cavill portrayed the legendary Witcher.
Hemsworth was officially announced to step into the role starting with Season 4 and continuing through the final Season 5 in October 2022, taking over from Cavill who played Geralt in Seasons 1–3.

In addition to established characters, the set photos also reveal new faces joining the saga. Among them is veteran actor Laurence Fishburne—known for his iconic roles across cinema—as Emiel Reigs, a figure of great importance in the final season's unfolding narrative.
Fans analyzing the images speculate that *Season 5* could draw inspiration from Andrzej Sapkowski’s novel *Tower of the Swallow*, where Geralt encounters beekeepers who guide him toward the druids. However, since *Season 4* has yet to premiere, the direction of the story remains wide open. With plenty of plotlines still unresolved, there’s a lot left to unpack before the full picture comes into focus.
Cavill isn’t the only cast member whose departure led to a recast. Kim Bodnia, who brought depth and warmth to Vesemir—Geralt’s mentor and father figure—will not return for Season 4 due to scheduling conflicts. Netflix has not yet revealed who will take over the role moving forward. Additionally, no official release date has been set for *Season 4*, keeping fans eagerly waiting for more details to emerge.
