LEGO Revives Simpsons Collab, Unveils Krusty Burger Set

Get ready, Simpsons fans! LEGO has just unveiled an exciting new addition to their lineup with the launch of the Simpsons-themed Krusty Burger set. This minifigure-scale set is packed with numerous Easter eggs and references that celebrate the classic era of the beloved show. Priced at $209.99, the LEGO The Simpsons: Krusty Burger is designed for fans aged 18 and above. While it's not yet available for preorder, mark your calendars for the general release on June 4. This marks the first Simpsons-themed build since 2018, following the release of two smaller Brickheadz models featuring Homer Simpson and Krusty the Clown. Before that, LEGO's Simpsons offerings were limited to just two sets: the iconic 2,523-piece Simpsons house in 2014 and the 2,179-piece Kwik-E-Mart in 2015, both of which have since been retired. The announcement of the Krusty Burger set is a thrilling revival of what many thought was a dormant LEGO franchise.

Comprising 1,635 pieces, the Krusty Burger set measures 9 inches tall, 9.5 inches wide, and 7.5 inches deep. Its exterior design is reminiscent of McDonald's, complete with a detailed drive-thru menu and window. The build features a unique hinge mechanism that allows the entire structure to open and close, revealing intricately designed interiors including a kitchen, a bathroom, and a dining area. In addition to the restaurant itself, the set includes two separate buildable elements: the iconic Krusty Burger sign mounted on a tall pole and Homer's Krusty-fied car from the Season Six episode "Homie the Clown."

The set is accompanied by seven minifigures: Homer Simpson, Bart Simpson, Lisa Simpson, Farmer Krusty the Clown, Sideshow Bob, the Squeaky Voiced Teen, and Officer Lou, bringing the scenes to life with their familiar presence.
