KEMCO's latest release, Eldgear, is a tactical, turn-based RPG set in the fantasy world of Argenia. Players uncover ancient, magically-powered machines and strive to prevent a catastrophic conflict. The game blends magic, mystery, and intricate mechanics.

Eldgear's Narrative:

Argenia is transitioning from a medieval age into a magical one, resulting in widespread conflict amongst its numerous nations. The discovery of powerful ancient technology within ruins fuels this conflict. Following a devastating war, a fragile peace prevails, constantly threatened by the potential resurgence of hostilities.

Central to the story is Eldia, a global task force dedicated to preventing another war by controlling access to these dangerous relics and researching their capabilities.

Gameplay Mechanics:

Eldgear features a relatively straightforward turn-based combat system, but its mechanics add depth. The EMA (Embedding Abilities) system allows players to equip three abilities per unit, offering strategic options like stat boosts, stealth, or bodyguard functions. The EXA (Expanding Abilities) system unlocks powerful moves upon reaching maximum Tension during battles.

Mysterious and powerful GEAR machines play a significant role, some acting as guardians, others as formidable foes.
