Supergiant Games recently commemorated Hades 2's one-year early access anniversary since its May 6, 2024 debut. The studio expressed gratitude for player support while confirming steady progress toward the complete version.

The developers stated: "Your enthusiasm has been both thrilling and illuminating as we work to fulfill the potential you recognize in our game. We appreciate your ongoing feedback as we approach the final stretch!"

Following the same early access approach as its predecessor, Hades 2 appears positioned for a faster full release than the original's 22-month development cycle. Initial availability is expected on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 platform.

Supergiant confirmed during a Nintendo Creator's Voice segment that Hades 2 will debut on the Switch 2. With Nintendo's next console launching June 5, the game could arrive during the platform's early adoption period.
