How To Unlock the A Prize Held High Trophy/Achievement in Monster Hunter Wilds

You might think that this trophy is linked to dragons or wyverns, but surprisingly, your target is the elusive Curioshell Crab. To catch this critter, you'll need your trusty Capture Net.

Locating the Curioshell Crab can be tricky as it's scattered across various maps. However, the Scarlet Forest has proven to be a reliable spot. From the base camp, head towards Area 6: Flowering Rocks pop-up camp. If you haven't discovered this location yet, it's nestled between Areas 2 and 6.

Equip your Capture Net, align your reticle until it turns orange, and then take your shot to capture the crab. Success here not only nets you the Curioshell Crab but also an Ancient Wyvern Coin.

Given the Curioshell Crab's swift movements, anticipate its path and aim ahead to ensure a successful capture. Besides the Scarlet Forest, you might also find it in Area 13 of the Windward Plains or Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest. Keep in mind, it could appear in other map areas as well, but these locations are our most tested spots so far.
