Author: Anthony Apr 19,2025

Get ready for some festive fun in *Pokemon Sleep* this winter, as the game introduces a delightful holiday event for December 2024. Alongside the charming Eevee donning a Santa hat, fans can look forward to befriending two new adorable Pokemon: Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix. This seasonal event is your chance to add these new friends to your sleep research adventures.

When Do Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix Debut in Pokemon Sleep?

Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix will make their Pokemon Sleep debut during the December 2024 Holiday Dream Shard Research event, kicking off the week of December 23. This event is not just about new Pokemon; it's also packed with various bonuses to help you boost your sleep research and collect extra Dream Shards. The real thrill, however, is the increased chance of encountering Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix throughout the event week. And for those hoping for a bit of extra luck, Shiny versions of these newcomers will be available right from the start.

Pawmi will start appearing at 3 PM on December 23. You can find it on Greengrass Isle, Snowdrop Tundra, and Old Gold Power Plant, with a higher chance of encountering it during the event. Pawmi, along with its evolutions Pawmo and Pawmot, falls under the Snoozing sleep type. While you can evolve Pawmi into Pawmo and Pawmot using Candies, you can only study their sleep styles in the wild.

To increase your chances of encountering Pawmi, Pawmo, and Pawmot, aim for a Snoozing sleep type during your Sleep Research. This type is characterized by a light sleep, though not as shallow as the Dozing type. Achieving this sleep style is generally straightforward, as it's the most common and mirrors how most of us naturally sleep.

The Balanced Sleep Type might also attract Pawmi, but since it's spread across three types, your chances aren't as high.

Alolan Vulpix will also make its debut at 3 PM on December 23, but it's a bit more elusive. You'll only find it on Snowdrop Tundra. Both Alolan Vulpix and its evolved form, Alolan Ninetails, belong to the Slumbering sleep type.

To boost your chances of encountering these ice-type Pokemon, you'll need to achieve a deep sleep. The Slumbering type requires a very deep sleep lasting at least 8 hours, which can be challenging to achieve in everyday life.

Like Pawmi, Alolan Vulpix and Alolan Ninetails can appear with the Balanced Sleep type, but this is less common.

If you're aiming to encounter both Alolan Vulpix and Pawmi, head to Snowdrop Tundra during the Winter Holiday 2024 event in Pokemon Sleep. This is the only island where both Pokemon will appear.

Be prepared though; Snowdrop Tundra has high team requirements. To make the most of this winter event, consider training your Snowdrop team in advance to increase your chances of meeting these new arrivals.
