For instance, GTA 5 debuted on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September 2013, followed by PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in November 2014, and finally on PC in April 2015. Similarly, Red Dead Redemption 2 launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in October 2018, with a PC release following in November 2019.

Although a PC release for GTA 6 remains unconfirmed, Zelnick's comments suggest a keen interest in eventually bringing the game to the PC platform. "We've had obviously a long-standing relationship with Nintendo, and we've supported the platform when it made sense for the individual release," Zelnick said.

He pointed out that the Switch has evolved to cater to a broader audience, stating, "the Switch device can support any audience." With Civilization 7 already confirmed for the Switch, Zelnick added, "So while we have nothing specific to report, we actually would fully expect to support Switch."
