GTA 5 Enhanced Hits Xbox & PC Game Pass Soon

Microsoft is set to bring Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto 5 to Xbox Game Pass and the GTA 5 Enhanced Edition to PC Game Pass starting April 15.

This major addition to the April 2025 Wave 1 lineup was revealed in an Xbox Wire post, confirming the service's most anticipated title of the month will arrive in just weeks. The announcement carries extra excitement as the PC Game Pass version includes Rockstar's Enhanced update released in March.

"All versions will feature *Oscar Guzman Flies Again*, the latest content update where players can command the McKenzie Field Hangar in Grapeseed," Xbox's official statement explained. "Experience new arms smuggling operations, pilot fresh aircraft, and additional content."

The game's return to Game Pass comes after its previous removal from the service. While this marks GTA 5's debut on PC Game Pass, long-time fans have expressed concerns despite the positive news.

The Enhanced Edition launched March 4 as a free PC update, introducing new vehicles, Hao's Special Works performance modifications, wildlife encounters, and graphical improvements. However, account transfer problems preventing GTA Online progress migration led to the title becoming Rockstar's lowest-rated Steam release.

New Los Santos visitors can enjoy the game worry-free, but veterans attempting to transfer their Online profiles to the Enhanced version may encounter persistent technical issues that remain unresolved.
