All Oni Masks and Their Abilities
-
Void Oni Mask: Offers superior mobility. Throw a Void Tear (Shoot button), then teleport to its location (Aim button while mask is equipped). The Epic variant has 15 uses and a 5-second cooldown; the Mythic variant has 50 uses.
-
Fire Oni Mask: Deals significant damage. Press the Fire button to launch a guided flame projectile inflicting 100 damage. Multiple enemies in close proximity can be hit simultaneously. The Epic variant has 8 uses and an 8-second cooldown; the Mythic variant has 16 uses.
How to Acquire Oni Masks
-
Elemental Chests: These chests guarantee an elemental item, including Oni Masks and Boons. Locations with named POIs offer higher chances of finding them. This method requires some luck.
-
Defeating Demon Warriors: These enemies, marked by an Oni Mask icon on the map, sometimes drop either a Void or Fire Oni Mask (depending on which they wield). They may also drop Typhoon Blades and Boons.
-
Regular Chests: Standard chests have a small chance of dropping Epic rarity Void and Fire Oni Masks. This is the least reliable method.
-
Purchase from Daigo: At Masked Meadows, Daigo sells both masks for Gold Bars. Completing all stages of his Mask Expertise Quests is required to unlock this option.
-
Daigo's Hidden Workshop: Located beneath the building on the north side of Masked Meadows, this workshop contains a machine that guarantees both Void and Fire Oni Masks upon looting. This bypasses the quest requirement.
-
Defeating Bosses (Mythic Oni Masks Only): Mythic versions of the masks are obtained by defeating bosses: Night Rose (Mythic Void Oni Mask) at Demon's Dojo and Shogun X (Mythic Fire Oni Mask) at Shogun's Arena. These function identically to their Epic counterparts but have more uses.
