Tepes Ovidiu, an indie solo developer from Romania, has launched a fresh puzzle title. His portfolio includes memory game Cessabit and the inventive Not Chess. His latest release, Is This Yours?, puts you in charge of a delightfully chaotic lost & found desk.
True to his independent spirit, Ovidiu has single-handedly crafted nearly every aspect of the game—from the distinctive artwork and animations to the underlying code. The result is impressive, transforming an everyday concept into a genuinely fun experience.
Is This Yours?
In this game, you manage a bustling lost and found counter. Anxious customers approach you, desperately hoping you can locate their misplaced belongings. Your inventory is wildly unpredictable, featuring everything from burritos and earbuds to passports and even a teddy bear grappling with its own emotional baggage.
Each customer request presents a unique mini-puzzle. You must decipher their often vague or downright absurd descriptions to identify the correct item. One moment you're searching for a pair of broken sunglasses; the next, you're handed an even more bizarre challenge.
Your mission is to reunite people with their lost possessions. This core loop creates a gameplay experience that is frantic, surprisingly heartfelt, and consistently hilarious. Take a first look at Is This Yours? in the clip below.
An Avalanche of Misplaced Items and Impatient Patrons
In the game's fast-paced mode, you have only three hearts to spare. Successfully matching items quickly boosts your reputation, but the challenge escalates as the pile of lost goods grows and customers become increasingly grumpy.
For a more relaxed session, the Zen mode lets you enjoy the matching puzzles at your own pace, free from the pressure of impatient customers or depleting hearts.
The game features haptic feedback, achievements, and Game Center leaderboards. It's a one-time purchase with no ads, tracking, or data collection. You can download Is This Yours? for $1.99 on the Google Play Store.
