Cookie Run Kingdom's Flame Awakens Update Arrives

• New Fire Spirit Cookie and Agar Agar Cookie join the roster
• Into the Depths expands gameplay with underground exploration

Cookie Run: Kingdom's latest update delivers an impressive wave of fresh content to the popular mobile RPG. Titled The Flame Awakens, this patch introduces Fire Spirit Cookie and the intriguing new Mines system, transforming how players explore, gather resources, and engage in combat.

Fire Spirit Cookie, a Legendary Magic-type character, justifies his rare status with a blazing skill set that grows more powerful when paired with other Fire-type allies. From torching foes with Ever-Burning Flames to summoning Flame Hydras upon defeat, his effectiveness escalates with tactical team building. Equipped with the new Legendary costume Wings of Fire, he becomes an unstoppable force.

Joining him is Agar Agar Cookie (see our toppings and beascuits guide), an Epic Ambush Cookie featuring a unique mimicry ability. Depending on your team composition, she replicates one of five Legendary skills or selects one randomly, offering incredible versatility and strategic depth. Her Immunity to Shackles buff and ability to weaken enemies make her an excellent support attacker in compatible formations.

These additions complement the Into the Depths expansion, a substantial new feature focused on underground exploration. The Mines introduce mechanics including Venture, Mining, Mine Battles, and Appraisal, allowing players to excavate Ore Vein Cards, Fossils, and Agar Cubes. Deploy Cookies to reach deeper levels, extract valuable materials, and craft new Topping Tarts in the Mine Workshop.

This update also launches a fresh Arcade Arena season with rotating battle modes that require players to adapt strategies to varying team compositions weekly. For more relaxed competition, the Cake Hound Round-Up returns with scheduled multiplayer sessions where participants herd charming Cake Hounds to earn rewards.
