After the opening section of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, players gain the freedom to explore the world and take on side quests. One such quest involves finding Vostatek's horse, Pepik, which not only adds depth to the game's narrative but also rewards you handsomely.
Where To Find Vostatek in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
To begin this quest, pick up the side quest "Lackey" from Zlata at Gamemaster Vostatek's home west of Tachov. Alternatively, you can initiate the quest by speaking with Vitek, who is located slightly southeast of the house, as marked by the B on the map above. This sets you on a path northward, where you'll encounter Vostatek being attacked by wolves.

Searching for Pepik in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
After rescuing Vostatek from the wolves, he requests that you carry him to his camping spot where he left his horse, Pepik. Following his directions is straightforward, but be mindful of your stamina to avoid dropping Vostatek.
Upon reaching the camping site, Vostatek discovers that Pepik is missing. You'll then need to track Pepik by following clues along the path. As you approach each clue, you'll receive a prompt to examine it closely. Continue following the trail until you arrive at a poacher's camp.
As suspected by Vostatek, Pepik has been taken by poachers in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. You'll find him at the back of their camp. Fortunately, the poachers move around, allowing you to engage them in smaller groups, making it easier to manage the fight. Those on the outskirts of the camp are less challenging, and many will beg for mercy when cornered. You can bypass the tougher opponents in the center of the camp by quickly mounting Pepik and escaping before they can react. Keep in mind, there's no opportunity to rest between the encounters with the wolves and the poachers, so your health might be compromised depending on the outcome of the wolf fight.
Once you've secured Pepik, return him to Vostatek's camp. Upon speaking with Vostatek, you have the option to ride back to his home with him, which serves as a fast travel method. At his home, you'll be rewarded with Groschen and a permanent place to stay.
With Pepik safely returned to Vostatek in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you can now continue exploring other quests or pursue romantic storylines. The rewards from this quest also provide you with the means to purchase additional equipment if necessary.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
