Destiny Child Returns as Idle RPG

Destiny Child is returning! Originally launched in 2016 and archived in September 2023, this popular game is getting a reboot courtesy of Com2uS, taking over development from ShiftUp.

A Fresh Start?

Com2uS and ShiftUp have partnered to create a completely new Destiny Child experience – an idle RPG. Development will be spearheaded by Com2uS's Tiki Taka Studio, known for titles like the tactical RPG, Arcana Tactics.

While embracing the original game's charm and iconic 2D characters, Com2uS will introduce a revamped gameplay system. This reimagining promises a fresh perspective on the beloved title.

Remember the Memorial?

Destiny Child initially captivated players with its charming characters and dynamic real-time battles. Following its closure after almost seven years, ShiftUp released a memorial version, allowing fans to revisit the game.

While not the full game, the memorial app provides access to the stunning character art, allowing players to fondly remember their Childs. Access requires verification using pre-shutdown account data, limiting access to original players.

This memorial acts as a nostalgic trip, preserving the Childs and their classes, even without active battles. If you have access, enjoy this final glimpse before the new game launches, available on the Google Play Store.
